Aerospace: Integral part of an aircraft landing gear. Internal spline is broached using traditional horizontal broaching.

Agriculture: Sickle bar end cutter. External teeth are broached using a 48” vertical broaching machine.

Automotive: Front wheel drive inner hub. Internal spline is broached using a traditional horizontal broaching machine.

Automotive: Draw bolt for automotive use. External tapered flat is broached using a vertical broaching machine.

Biomedical: Stainless steel spinal clamp used in back surgery. Internal knurled teeth and partial square broached in two separate operations using horizontal broaching machines.

Consumer Products: Shower valve stem. Two blind splines broached using V W’s special process on a vertical broach press.

Consumer Products: Punch for a three-hole notebook hole punch. Teeth are broached in one pass using a high speed broaching machine.

Defense: Special pin used in a defense department tool. All four flats and the serration are broached in one pass using a high speed broaching machine.

Electronics: Tuner contact. V W designed and fabricated the broaching tool to cut the internal serrations.

Firearms: Lower receiver for semi-automatic rifle. Broached on a horizontal machine using a 78” pull broach.

Industrial Products: Tooling button used in holding clamped parts in a holding fixture. Cross hatch pattern is broached in one pass using a vertical broaching machine and an automatic indexing head.

Automotive: Seat retainer pin. Slot is broached on a continuous chain broaching machine.
